Mexico Prez: We Won't Pay for That Wall; We Don't Believe In Walls

"I have said it time and time again."

President of Mexico Enrique Peña Nieto has denounced President Trump's executive order to build a border wall, saying Mexico will not pay for the project and will now use their consulates to "protect" immigrants here illegally in the United States.

Posting a message to his Facebook page in unison with a video on Twitter, President Nieto promised immigrants here (illegally) in the United States that he rejects Trump's border wall, calling on civil rights legislators to take action.

"I have ordered Mexico’s Foreign Ministry to redouble the protection measures to our countrymen," Peña Nieto said. "The 50 Mexican Consulates in the U.S. will be turned into authentic defenders of the rights of migrants."

Nieto did not apologize to those immigrants (again, here illegally) for not better protecting them from despotic drug cartels or ensuring better economic freedom while in their home country of Mexico.

"Where there is one Mexican migrant in risk that requires our support, that is where we need to be … that is where his country needs to be," he said.

On the issue of Trump's border security plan, Nieto derided the idea itself, not just Trump's proposal to make Mexico foot the bill, saying it will break the supposed unity between the two countries.

"Mexico does not believe in walls," he said. "I have said it time and time again; Mexico will not pay for a wall."

Bottom line: Mexico believes it can dictate to the United States what we can do with our sovereign borders, and then go on to advise citizens in our own country to mobilize against this administrations enforcement of immigration law.
