Marcus Luttrell on US Marines Near ISIS: Take the Chains Off And Let Them Get to Work

"Make no mistake about it, Marines are war fighters."

How many Marines does it take to wipe out ISIS?  According to Lone Survivor Marcus Luttrell, the answer is 300.

Mr. Luttrell was on Fox and Friends and spoke with Brian Kilmeade and Elizabeth Hasselbeck about ISIS making ground and closing in on Al Baghdadi, an area only 5 miles from Al Asad Air Base where 300 Marines are currently being housed.

He acknowledged that the Marines have their hands tied behind their backs and are being “chained” with their abilities to fight the terrorist group and that fight does need to happen.

“Best thing you can do is jerk the chains off those guys and let them go to work.  With 300 Marines, you could probably take over Iraq if you wanted to and get rid of ISIS completely. Make no mistake about it, Marines are war fighters. I mean they are really good at what they do. The only time they are not good at what they do is when someone puts the shackles on them.”

Given that Obama or his administration refuse to call ISIS Radical Islam or Islamic extremism, it is a sure bet that Obama will not listen to a proven warriors advice.
