Man Of The People: Obama Holds Fundraiser At Home Of A Rich Rich Man

No seriously. It's like, his name.

President "Spread the Wealth Around" Obama has an image problem. For all his talk about the middle class and poverty, he, like broke millionaire Hillary, can't stop hanging around with rich people, golfing at exclusive resorts, flying in specialty chefs so precious can have his favorite foods, and generally living the life of wealth and privilege he has long enjoyed.

Politicians have to hold fundraisers. They have to have money to run. Campaigns cost money, and all politicians do it, and big names like the President help little guys stay competitive. But it is never not funny when the "do it for the children", Koch-villifying liberal poverty-mongers swank it up at some rich guy's house charging thousands of dollars a plate for dinners so they can spend that money on glitzy commercials to get elected to their seats of power. It's the very picture of "the establishment." And it is, again, hilarious.

But today's fundraiser really takes the ten grand a slice cake. Tonight, the Prez is partying with the very essence of the rich white man. Indeed, the very name synonymous with rich man. Which is to say he's getting his soirée on at the home of THE Mr. Richman. Mr. Rich. Man. To be specific, Rich Richman.

We can't confirm, but it is possible his maiden name was "Wealthington."

But wait there's more! The pool report on the President's arrival is too rich, too.

Helo landed at 5:09 p.m. in a beautiful field at the Greenwich Polo Club. Trees have started to change colors around the field and many leaves are on the ground.

So to summarize, the President arrived at a Polo Club by helicopter so he could attend a thirty-two thousand dollar a seat fundraiser at the home of Rich Richman. Afterward, he'll be feted by Milly Anair, of the Oxford Anairs, and then it's off to an informal gathering with Daddy Warbucks, the Monopoly guy, Scrooge McDuck, and of course, George Soros. Wish him luck!*
