During his "New Rules" segment on HBO's Real Time, host Bill Maher took a jab at Sarah Palin's genetics, calling them "embarrassing."

The mockery was in reference to President Obama's "mom jeans" meme where he is ridiculed for wearing unflattering jeans fit for older moms. However, for the bit, Maher slammed Palin's "genes."

New rule: Now that it's been confirmed that the entire Palin family did in fact participate in a drunken brawl, Sarah Palin must admit that President Obama's mom jeans aren't half as embarrassing as her mom genes.

Earlier this year, Palin made reference to Obama's mom jeans during a Fox News appearance.  She criticized the president for being photographed in jeans while talking to Russia President Vladimir Putin at the onset of the Russia/Ukraine invasion. She said:

People are looking at Putin as one who wrestles bears and drills for oil. They look at our president as one who wears mom jeans and equivocates and bloviates.
