Lyin' Brian: 'Fake News' Responsible for Trump Win

Oh the Irony!

In a moment devoid of any sense of self-awareness, MSNBC anchor Brian Williams – the man caught lying red-handed about being in a military copter shot by an RPG – has declared Hillary lost the election because of fake news.

During the broadcast, Williams took swipes at Trump's appointed National Security Adviser Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn over his son pushing the now-debunked #PizzaGate conspiracy on Twitter, implying Flynn himself had something to do with it. Since the Trump campaign released Flynn's son from the transition team, his tweets should be a non-issue.

Nonetheless, Williams continued his assaults on Flynn, saying he also pushed "fake news" stories on his Twitter page, even though some were actually true, like how Hillary "secretly waged war" on the Catholic Church.

Williams then took swipes at Breitbart News, saying it actively pushed fake news during the election, and "continues to find a wide audience." His source: left-wing Buzzfeed.

"A Buzzfeed news study of Donald Trump's own tweets where they follow back news stories to their root source, found more of them came from Breitbart originally than from any other single source," said Williams.

Brian Williams would know a great deal about "fake news" after being outed for having perpetrated it in 2015 when Stars and Stripes debunked his claim of being on Military copter in Iraq as an enemy RPG forced it into an emergency landing. Brian says he "misremembered" the story and now is banking on his critics forgetting it entirely.

We will never "misremember" your "fake news," Mr. Williams.
