Conservative watchdog Media Research Center has launched the first in a series of “Lean Over” videos created to highlight MSNBC’s leftist bias and embarrassing unprofessionalism. First up for ridicule: Chris Matthews, who is shown constantly rolling out non sequiturs and hammering on the evils of racist/sexist/bigoted/homophobic conservatism and the tyranny of “whitedom.”
The video series is part of MRC's new media #LeanOver campaign, a parody of MSNBC's slogan "Lean Forward." The series consists of 1-2 minute videos that MRC told Secrets are designed to “underscore how clueless and biased they are.”
“We've all seen the MSNBC ‘Lean Forward’ commercials. The inspiration for our #LeanOver parody was to demonstrate the absurdity of MSNBC by simply showing folks clips of MSNBC hosts like Chris Matthews in action,” MRC Social Media Director Scooter Schaefer told Secrets. “After all, nobody can do a better job making Chris Matthews sound like an unhinged liberal partisan than Chris Matthews.”
