Kerry Begrudgingly Concedes Terrorism 'Probably' a Bigger Threat Than Global Warming

...but not really.

Secretary of State John Kerry finally conceded Thursday that "terrorism" (of origins unknown, mind you) might just be a bigger threat to the world than climate change. But make no mistake, climate change comes in a close second -- oh, who are we kidding, it's really number one.

"[L]et me just say that one of the greatest challenges of our times besides the fight against extremism is to deal with the enormous battle of climate change," Kerry said during a stop in Denmark on Thursday.

While in Norway the day prior, Kerry threw out an obligatory line about "violent extremism," saying it "probably" ranks higher on the list of global threats... or it's at least "one of the threats," but the "defining threat" is still climate change. Got that?

"The threat of climate change is, without question, one of the defining if not the defining challenge — I'd probably give violent extremism — have to say one of — the defining threat of a generation... And it is a challenge that everybody has to approach with urgency."

Authoritative.

Recall that in 2014 Kerry claimed that climate change is the "greatest challenge of our generation" and also the world's "largest weapon of mass destruction" (alongside those pesky AR-15s -- I mean "weapons of war.")

Not at any point in Kerry's global warming tour last week did he want to give the false impression he somehow cares whether Americans are slaughtered by the dozens at the hands of Islamic terrorists. He was, however, sure to remind us all that, if we think things are bad now, just wait til' the ice sheets of Greenland melt:

"[T]his thing called climate change is looming out there, a decidedly different challenge but, let me tell you, one that is existential and already impacting our lives, giving us a preview of the planet-wide catastrophe that we would face if we don't change course ... And with it, the kinds of catastrophic movements of people.

"If we think we see refuges today, imagine what would happen when whole rivers dry up and food shifts and production is limited and people are fighting over those limitations."

I for one feel a lot safer knowing our Secretary of State, Commander in Chief and other leftists outside the administration -- are working in unison to address the real problems we face: bigoted Christian bakers who refuse to fashion gay-wedding cakes, gun emojis on smartphones, the patriarchy of 20-dollar bills, the microaggression of Donald Trump campaign slogans, racist cops, permafrost and "climate refugees."

Wait. What's that you say about "radical Islamic extremism?" According to the White House, it doesn't exist -- it's just a false Republican construct:
