Comedy Central's Roast of Justin Bieber taped last night in Los Angeles.
Bieber wrapped up the Roast with a few words of his own for the audience, including an apology:
“There was really no preparing me for this life,” he explained onstage. “I was thrown into this at 12 years old, and I didn’t really know what I was getting myself into. There’s been moments I’m really proud of and a lot of moments I look back and I’m pretty disappointed with myself for. But the things that I’ve done really don’t define who I am. I’m a kind-hearted person who loves people and, through it all, lost some of my best qualities. For that, I’m sorry. But what I can say is that I’m looking forward to being someone you can look at and be proud of.”
The Roast was taped on Bieber's 21st birthday. Host Kevin Hart did not sugar coat his words about Bieber. “Tonight we are gonna do what parents and the legal system should have done a long time ago — give the boy an ass-whuppin he deserves.”
Other attendees who took shots at Bieber were Hannibal Buress, Chris D’Elia, Snoop Dogg, Shaquille O’Neal, Pete Davidson, Natasha Leggero, Ludacris, Jeff Ross and Martha Stewart.
The topic wasn't just restricted to Bieber, Bill Cosby also got a few mentions along with Paul Walker, star of Fast & Furious who passed away last year.
Will Ferrell also made an appearance as beloved anchorman, Ron Burgundy.
The Roast will air on Comedy Central on March 30.
