Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal issued a warning to members of the infamous Westboro Baptist Church who plan to protest at the funerals of victims of the Lafayette movie theater shooting. 

"They better not try that nonsense here," said Republican presidential candidate Jindal, who issued an executive order that will block members of the inflammatory group from disrupting the funerals, which begin Monday.  

"If they come here to Louisiana, if they try to disrupt this funeral, we're going to lock them up," said Jindal on CBS's "Face The Nation" Sunday. "We're going to arrest them. They shouldn't try that in Louisiana. We won't abide by that here. Let these families grieve."

The group, which believes that tragedies like those in Lafayette are God's means of judging the nation for allowing what it deems sinful activity is consistently finding reasons to insert protestors at high-profile events. 

John Russell Houser, a man with a history of mental illness who opened fire in the Lafayette theater, had reportedly praised Westboro Baptist online.

The Huffington Post reports that Lafayette residents "have promised to form a human wall around the funerals to prevent any protests."
