Introducing Sana Solo -- Han's 'Wife'(?)

New official in-canon series shakes up Han's love life

The most recent issue of the Star Wars comic series, which has been mandated by Disney as the official new "in-canon" universe, introduces Sana Solo--Han's "wife."

io9 provides some context for the cliffhanger revelation in Star Wars - Issue 6:

Marvel’s main Star Wars comic is set just after the destruction of the first Death Star, and the events of A New Hope. So apparently while Han Solo was running Luke and Obi-Wan to Alderaan, he was a married man the entire time. And unless he’s going to get some kind of divorce — which seems like it would be difficult, given that he’d have to file paperwork with the Empire to legal dissolve his union, and he’s a wanted man and all — maybe he was married during Empire Strikes Back, too?!

Is she simply claiming to be his wife or the real deal? Either way, the introduction of Sana into the new Star Wars canon certainly complicates the relationship with Leia and furthers the new vision for a more ethnically diverse Star Wars franchise.
