"Her Mind is Shot" Trump Says of Ginsburg

Calls on her to resign over political comments.

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg told interviewers over the past week that she doesn't want to contemplate a Donald Trump victory in the presidential election. She called the Republican nominee a "fake" for refusing to release his tax returns and stated that she fully backs Hillary Clinton. Those comments now have Trump questioning whether Ginsburg has all her mental faculties and calling for her to resign.

Trump responded to Ginsburg via Twitter late Tuesday.

Trump told the New York Times on Tuesday that it was inappropriate for Ginsburg to be so active in a political campaign while sitting on the nation's highest court.

"I think it’s highly inappropriate that a United States Supreme Court judge gets involved in a political campaign, frankly," Trump told the Times. "I think it’s a disgrace to the court, and I think she should apologize to the court. I couldn’t believe it when I saw it."
