Of all the serious issues that this country is facing, the focus of the struggle for the presidency between nominees Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton sadly seems to be coming down to one issue of obsessive importance to the left, since Hillary is a woman: Trump's supposed sexism.

As Mediaite reports, former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani was leaving Hofstra University after Monday night's presidential debate when he was approached by Elite Daily reporter Alexandra Svokos and asked, "Is Donald Trump a feminist?"

Giuliani responded strongly in the affirmative, proceeding to defend Trump's track record of hiring, promoting, and paying women in his organization equally. He then added that Trump "was too reserved and too gentlemanly to say at the end [of the debate] what I would have said about Hillary Clinton's attack on him about not being a feminist."

Asked what he, Giuliani, would have said, the mayor responded,

"I'm not sure I should tell you what I would have said, but I sure would’ve talked about what she did to Monica Lewinsky, what that woman standing there did to Monica Lewinsky, trying to paint her as an insane young woman when in fact Monica Lewinsky was an intern. The president of the United States, her husband, disgraced this country with what he did in the Oval Office and she didn’t just stand by him, she attacked Monica Lewinsky. And after being married to Bill Clinton for 20 years, if you didn’t know the moment Monica Lewinsky said that Bill Clinton violated her that she was telling the truth, then you’re too stupid to be president.”

Trump suggested to reporters that night that he had every intention of attacking Clinton by invoking former president Bill Clinton‘s history of sexual misconduct, but held back onstage because of the presence of Hillary's daughter Chelsea. As Mediaite noted, however, Trump said Tuesday on Fox & Friends that he might not be so magnanimous in the future.
