This morning, retired Air Force Lt. General Thomas McInerney appeared on Fox News once again, stating on air for the second time that America is facing a dire new 9/11 threat and should go to DEFCON 1.

McInerney lists a host of red flags, or "red blinking lights" as he put it, to indicate the increased threat, including Britain's defensive posture, the beheading of American journalists by ISIS, and missing airliners - even going so far as to wonder aloud if the missing Malaysian Air jet will "rise again" - before stating that things are worse now than even he previously realized.

"I just found out this morning, moments ago, that the terrorists have developed an explosive that could be planted on human beings and it cannot be traced. This is a very, very dangerous warning that we are getting, and America should upgrade its alert status to DEFCON 1. We've never done it before, but beware America, they are coming after us."

McInerney has been conjecturing about the eventual use of flight MH370 in a terror attack for some time, even speculating that it could be used to deliver a nuclear bomb. As September 11th approaches, his warnings and theories take on an increasingly frightening aspect, especially in light of all the recent bad news in the War on Terror.
