"Stephen Colbert has come under fire on social media for a crude joke he made about President Donald Trump on Monday’s broadcast of The Late Show that some critics claimed was bigoted and homophobic," according to Breitbart. After calling the President a "c–ck holster" for Russian president Vladimir Putin, the hashtag #FireColbert has become number 2 in the national trend on social media. Since the comment disparages homosexuality as a negative, it was clearly "homophobic," according to SJW reasoning.
Had Colbert been a conservative directing such vile comments at Barack Obama, the network news would have exploded with outrage and condemnation, and Colbert's career would be over; but no such punishment appears on the horizon for him. Now the pro-Trump trolls and even some LGBT trolls have skewered the unfunny juvenile on social media.
“Colbert’s homophobic rant was disgusting and we won’t tolerate this anti-LGBTQ behavior,” one Twitter user wrote.
“Liberals ruin the careers of conservatives all the time, so the #FireColbert campaign is just giving libs a taste of their own medicine,” said another.
