Actor Seth Rogan took to Twitter to express his opinion of the blockbuster Oscar-nominated hit American Sniper which features the heroic story of Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, who protected scores of American military and Iraqi citizens with his incredibly prolific record as a sniper in the Iraq war.

American Sniper kind of reminds me of the movie that's showing in the third act of Inglorious Basterds.

Rogan's Tweet refers to the Quentin Tarantino​ film Inglorious Basterds which tells a fictional story of a Nazi propaganda film shown in a French cinema and the American military's plot to assassinate Adolph Hitler while he views the film. The fictional propaganda film depicted in the movie is meant to replicate a Leni Riefenstahl-esque hagiography of a Nazi hero who happens to be a sniper.

It's hard to see Rogan's statement and not jump to the conclusion that he is equating Kyle to the fictional Nazi in Tarantino's movie. Since the star of The Interview hasn't sent any other messages on Twitter at the time of this article's publishing, it's hard to reach any other conclusion.

Perhaps he was referring to the style in which director Clint Eastwood shot, edited and presented the film rather than the subject matter.

Or, perhaps, he's just a jerk.
