Former Governor of Vermont Howard Dean was almost ramped up to the level of his infamous 2004 scream on Meet the Press Sunday morning when he asked, "Where the hell is the Democratic party!?"
In his analysis of the midterms, Dean saw a clear lack of message from the Democratic candidates. Even when he was running the DNC and promoting his "50-State Strategy" of taking over the House, Senate and presidency, Dean said he was unable to keep his party "on message."
Dean said Republicans ran on the "we're-not-Obama" message, but blamed Democrats for following suit:
What was the Democrats' message? Oh, well, we're really not, either!
You cannot win if you are afraid! Where the hell is the Democratic Party!? You got to stand for something if you want to win.
