On Facebook last week, former Red Sox pitcher and outspoken conservative Curt Schilling declared that he is considering running for Senate in Massachusetts in 2018 in order to unseat radical leftist Elizabeth Warren. 

Schilling added that, beyond that, he would aim for a presidential run in 2024.

In an interview yesterday with The Kuhner Report on Boston's WRKO, Schilling went into more detail, according to The Hill:

"I thought about it, and one of the things I would like to do is be one of the people responsible for getting Elizabeth Warren out of politics. I think she’s a nightmare. The left is holding her up as the second coming of Hillary Clinton, but Lord knows we don’t need the first one.”

Indeed we do not, and the fanatical Warren is an even more chilling future possibility.

Schilling explained that he was considering a political career “simply because I’ve never been somebody to sit around talking about getting stuff done without actually trying to help." But as for challenging Warren, Schilling needs to run it by his principal advisor before committing:

"And the end of the day it comes down to a conversation with the boss. The boss in my house is my wife."

The Boston sports star was an analyst at ESPN until he was fired for a controversial Facebook post about North Carolina's transgender bathroom law.
