UC Berkeley, which has recently been the locus of thuggish, anti-free speech rioting to shut down invited conservative speakers like Ann Coulter and Milo Yiannopoulos, will host an event this Thursday evening featuring a Communist leader who will argue that it is "right and righteous" to drive such "fascists" off of college campuses, according to Breitbart.
The event titled, “Battle for Berkeley: Why It’s Right and Righteous to Drive Fascists Off Campus, and Out of Power,” is being advertised as a “talk and challenge to debate” -- ironic and contradictory considering that it is the radical left that is uninterested in debate, and that considers such speakers as Coulter, Milo, and Freedom Center founder David Horowitz deserving only of violent resistance.
The rabble-rousing -- I mean, discussion -- will be led by the rabidly angry (see her here sparring with Tucker Carlson) Sunsara Taylor, a leader of the Communist Revolutionary Party, who has compared both Presidents George W. Bush and Donald Trump to Hitler, who has said that "America was never great," and who has argued for “driving out” the Trump "regime." She is also, predictably, the leader of an organization called Stop Patriarchy and a prominent abortion rights activist.
As Breitbart notes, members of the Berkeley College Republicans were forced to cancel events with Horowitz and Coulter "after university administrators placed unusual restrictions on their events, such as forcing them to take place far from the main center of campus and forcing them to be held during regular class hours. For Coulter’s event, law enforcement claimed that there would be a 99 percent chance of violence if the event were to have taken place."
To be clear, that's a 99% chance of leftist violence, because they are the fascists.
