Why did Hillary Clinton lose to Donald Trump in November? The question has been asked and asked again; Clinton has blamed everyone but herself. But CNN’s Chris Cillizza points out that the revelation that she used a private email server for her classified email when Secretary of State may have played a larger role in her campaign's demise than originally believed. Cillizza reports:
Pollsters and political scientists from Gallup, Georgetown University and the University of Michigan studied the daily Gallup tracking poll from July 10 to November 7, 2016. In particular, they zeroed in on one question: "Have you read, seen or heard anything about (Hillary Clinton/Donald Trump) in the last day or two?" They then zeroed in on the "yes" responses and categorized what, exactly, people said they had read, seen or heard.

“Not only did "email" dominate the conversation around Clinton, it dominated the entire conversation in the race,” Cillizza writes. “From October 23 on, Trump is barely talked about -- an amazing feat for someone so willing to make news.”
He goes on to say that liberals might use this study to lament the fact that the mainstream media paid to much attention to this story. Ha! That's one of the more hilarious claims a lib could make. Conservatives know that the MSM didn’t pay enough attention to it, and that there’s just one person to blame for her stunning loss.
As one writer in National Review wrote, “Clinton evaded prosecution on the strength of her name and through the horrible precedent set by the DOJ’s deal with David Petraeus. She should be grateful that she’s not in prison, not outraged that she’s not president. She brought this all on herself.”
