The Hillary Clinton campaign quietly removed a "sexual assault" pledge on her website that stated all sexual assault victims have the right to be believed.
On a page dedicated to “Campus sexual assault” on HillaryClinton.com, this passage from the Democratic presidential candidate used to be prominently featured last year: “I want to send a message to every survivor of sexual assault: Don’t let anyone silence your voice. You have the right to be heard. You have the right to be believed, and we’re with you.”
But according to BuzzFeed News, the pledge was removed in February of this year. The removal happened after allegations of rape against Bill Clinton resurfaced from Juanita Broaddrick. Broaddrick claims that Hillary's husband raped her in 1978 when he was lieutenant governor of Arkansas.
Broaddrick has stated she believes Hillary Clinton enabled Bill's behavior and said Hillary threatened her to keep quiet.
“It’s important for everyone to know that Hillary Clinton is not innocent in all of the coverup and the attempted attacks on all of the women that Bill Clinton abused,” Broaddrick told Boston radio station WRKO.
Clinton opponent Donald Trump has released a video of Broaddrick along with another woman who accused Bill Clinton of sexual harassment, Kathleen Willey. Earlier this year, Trump posted an ad on Instagram featuring the two women.
The Freedom Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Therefore we do not endorse political candidates either in primary or general elections. However, as defenders of America’s social contract, we insist that the rules laid down by both parties at the outset of campaigns be respected, and that the results be decided by free elections. We will oppose any attempt to rig the system and deny voters of either party their constitutional right to elect candidates of their choice.
