Comedian Dana Carvey returned to Saturday Night Live this weekend as his iconic character "Church Lady" to talk about politics and the 2016 campaign.
The first guest on Church Lady's "talk show" Church Chat is Satan, who tells her, "Just call me Ted Cruz."
She tells Cruz/Satan, "Has anyone ever told you, you're just a little preachy?"
She remarks on Cruz's face, saying "That's our happy, superior face because we love Jesus more than anybody."
The Church Lady then asks Cruz, "What are you going to do next?" and he responds "I've been thinking about turning evil."
"Donald Trump" was the second guest, whom the Church Lady described as the Tangerine Tornado.
She asks Trump if he has figured out who his VP will be and answers her own question with her famous catchphrase, "Could it be... Satan?"
The skit closes with both the Church Lady and Satan yelling SNL's usual introductory line, "Live from New York, it's Saturday Night!"
The Freedom Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Therefore we do not endorse political candidates either in primary or general elections. However, as defenders of America’s social contract, we insist that the rules laid down by both parties at the outset of campaigns be respected, and that the results be decided by free elections. We will oppose any attempt to rig the system and deny voters of either party their constitutional right to elect candidates of their choice.
