Beyonce, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Common, Chris Rock, Pink, Bono and many others have lent their support to a new video on the "23 ways you could be killed if you are black in America."

What the video boasts in emotion, it lacks in facts. However, that's never stopped a celebrity lecture before and this one lays it on thick. Despite there being no evidence of racial bias when it comes to police shooting a black suspect, these (mostly) black celebrities are marching onward, pushing the narrative that just looking at a "racist" cop the wrong way will get a black person killed - or wearing a hoodie, or holding a fake gun, or selling CDs, etc. Many of the high-profile shootings from Trayvon Martin to Alton Sterling are all represented.

And as is customary, a hashtag campaign has launched alongside the video produced by Mic: #23Ways. 

At the end, the video states:

In other words, just for being black in America and doing absolutely nothing. These everyday actions can be seen as not servile enough.

Alicia Keys sends this urgent message to viewers: "Tell President Obama and Congress that the time for change is now. We demand radical transformation to heal the long history of systemic racism so that all Americans have the equal right to live and pursue happiness."

Because facts are irrelevant.
