Hollywood leftist Amy Schumer can’t catch a break these days. First, she upset her Trump-supporting fans in Tampa, Florida, by slamming the Republican and had anyone who booed her escorted out of her “comedy” show. And now, she has upset her own kind after releasing a “racist” parody of Beyonce’s Black Panther-inspired hit "Formation." But hey, those are the breaks in progressivism!
In her version of the video, Schumer dances and lip-syncs alongside actresses Goldie Hawn, Joan Cusack, and Wanda Sykes. It’s not particularly funny, so it remains unclear why she went forward with this endeavor. But whatever the reason, she was attacked online and earned the hashtag protest, #AmySchumerGottaGoParty:
What’s ultimately ironic about this criticism is that the music company that released the parody, Tidal, is owned by Beyonce’s husband Jay-Z. So, it obviously had the couple’s blessing (not to mention the fact that Sykes and other black women were in the video). But the social justice warriors were too hungry for blood to notice.
And how did Schumer react to all the negativity? By doing what any thoughtful feminist would do: she took off her clothes to revel in her good deed:
Ohhh! So, this was a "tribute" to help further a "conversation." That makes... no sense at all.
