Democrats have lost 0-4 in special elections, their latest defeat occurring Tuesday when Republican Karen Handel won Georgia's 6th Congressional district over her Democratic rival Jon Ossoff.  

Despite this, the left's derangement syndrome is still going strong, with Democratic National Committee vice-chairman Rep. Keith Ellison actually declaring that his party's "Resistance Summer" is "going awesome."

"First of all, 'resistance summer' is going awesome," Ellison told Center for American Progress head Neera Tanden.

"It's going well. The Democratic Party is on the move. We are getting across this country. We are fighting every single day."
