Twitchy found a gem today, pointing out tweets from Mia Farrow, the actress made famous by appearing in pedophile Roman Polanski’s film Rosemary’s Baby, showing her displeasure with House Republicans for shutting down the government.
Posting on Twitter Wednesday, the actress-turned-activist spoke out.
The House should pay for my konipin
The gang over at Weasel Zippers gave the best analysis.
Because even rich liberals want “free” stuff.
Farrow went on to demand an “apology to the nation” and rounded out the day with the astute political observation that there is “No need to have a debt ceiling at all.”
Farrow, whose son Ronan was recently signed to host a show on the leftist network MSNBC, was surprisingly quiet on the fact that the House passed several funding bills to keep the government running, or that Democrat President Barack Obama once had this to say on the debt limit:
Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that ‘‘the buck stops here.’’ Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better. I therefore intend to oppose the effort to increase America’s debt limit.
