True to Trump form, The Donald's controversial appearance hosting last weekend's Saturday Night Live went so well that the left-leaning show garnered its highest ratings in over three years, according to Fox News.

Hours after the show aired, Trump was asked on television how he thought his performance went. The always-confident Trump said it was "very well received and probably got very good ratings, who knows?"

Nielsen knows. The ratings system that measures household viewing in 56 U.S. markets gave the comedy show its highest rating since basketball star Charles Barkley hosted in January, 2012.

The preliminary numbers showed that the Trump episode brought in a 6.6 household rating; the official, final figures will be released Thursday.

According to Fox, this season’s previously highest-rated episode of SNL was the 41st season premiere, featuring Miley Cyrus and Hillary Clinton. Trump’s rating was 47 percent higher than Clinton’s episode. As Trump would put it, that's huuuuge.
