During the third presidential debate Wednesday night, candidate Donald Trump said one of the first things he would do to improve our border situation is get drug dealers and "bad hombres" out of the U.S. This triggered nearly an entire CNN panel because apparently using the Spanish word "hombres" is racism and cultural appropriation now.
Patti Solis Doyle called it “very offensive.” "Ex"-Communist Van Jones suggested the language was a racist dog-whistle. CNN Trump supporter Jeff Lord countered their outrage with "This is political correctness!" and told the others, "I have never heard that compared to, say, the N-word, right?"
Conservative commentator Kayleigh McEnany complained that “this is such a high-offense culture.”
Of course, the issue is not that "bad hombres" is offensive to CNN's progressives; the issue is that CNN's progressives want to hammer Trump as a racist, so they make everything about race. That's the progressive way.
Watch all the CNN pearl-clutching and race-baiting above.
