Senator Tom Cotton's Response to State Department over How to Combat Extremism...PRICELESS

Three days ago the State Department in their infinite wisdom asked the American public via Twitter to share the solutions they think “are critical to countering violent extremism.”

While some on the social media site took jabs at the State Department, Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas took a sledgehammer and pummeled them with his suggestions.

Mind you, Tom Cotton gave up a career as a lawyer to join the U.S. military, where he “served almost five years as an active duty Infantry Officer and completed combat tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan. In Iraq Tom served with the 101st Airborne where he led an infantry platoon in daily combat patrols.”  In other words, he knows a little something about combating “violent extremism.”
