Back in the 1990s, Arsenio Hall and C+C Music Factory had us all pondering “Things That Make You Go Hmmm.” In today’s acronym text culture, we’re all LOL’ing at the stupid things people say. President Obama’s top adviser, Valerie Jarrett, has us doing both with her recent comments about her boss.

Check out the whopper she told CNN:

“The president prides himself on the fact that his administration hasn’t had a scandal and that he hasn’t done anything to embarrass himself.”

Take a moment to let that one sink in.

Jarrett continued rewriting history to suit Obama’s legacy:

“But that’s not because he’s being someone other than who he is, that’s because that’s who he is — that’s who they are. And I think that’s what really resonates with the American people.”

Look how easily Jarrett forgot Ambassador Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty, and Tyrone Woods who were killed in Benghazi thanks to the Obama administration’s security failures, or how they all looked the other way regarding Secretary Hillary Clinton’s private e-mail abuses. Obama’s IRS targeted conservative and Tea Party groups, denying them tax-exempt status as a political witch hunt. Then there was the president’s unprecedented surveillance of private citizens conducted by the National Security Agency and his abuse of executive power throughout his term. Of course, CNN wasn’t prepared with a list like this to counter her claims.

“This is delusional,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “The Obama administration has a scandal rap sheet longer than my arm. Between just the IRS abuses, Benghazi, and the Hillary Clinton scandals, this administration was even more corrupt than Nixon’s.”

Buckle up for Obama’s chorus singing his praises for the remaining 18 days and beyond.
