Sarah Silverman took to Twitter this week with the intent to offend once again, tweeting simply "Religion Kills," a remark that garnered more than 1,000 retweets and a few thousand favorites. 

Most of Silverman's followers expressed strong agreement with her anti-religious statement, some adding that she should also tweet out that "Guns kill."

Only a handful of people challenged her thinking, one suggesting Silverman has become a female Bill Maher then stating everyone hates Maher. 

Silverman has said she considered herself Jewish but does not practice her faith and supports social and political agendas traditional Judaism does not. Silverman has a sister that is a Rabbi who was arrested in 2013 for praying at the Wailing Wall. 

In the past Silverman has auctioned off a used sanitary napkin to raise money for abortion clinics. She appeared with "Jesus" to "preach" reproductive rights. Silverman has even supported President Obama by telling all of her fans in 2008 that she would "blame the Jews" if the then senator did not win and urged them to make a "Great Schlep" to Florida to get out the Jewish vote.
