Salon: Maxine Waters Should Be Our Next President

Go home, Salon, you're drunk.

Just when you think Salon can't sink lower in credibility and political ignorance, it posts a video which lists five reasons Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters should be our next President.

You read that right.

The video features someone named D. Watkins, a Salon Editor at Large and a University of Baltimore professor who wrote the "New York Times best-sellers" The Beast Side: Living  (and Dying) While Black in America and The Cook Up: A Crack Rock Memoir. In a short article accompanying the video, Watkins writes that, instead of poking fun at Maxine Waters, Fox's Bill O'Reilly "should be praising Waters and telling his viewers that she would make a better president than Donald Trump."

In the video, Watkins asserts that the incompetent progressive radical Waters, who will be 82 by the next presidential election, "understands the people." She loves millennials "and we love her back." But the number one reason she should be President is that "she's not afraid to attack the right... and she's a strong black woman."

Well, those are certainly important qualifications.
