President Obama will meet with his Cabinet, law enforcement and civil rights leaders today to talk about the unrest in Ferguson, Missouri.
The White House says the meeting will focus on a review of the militarized equipment provided by the federal government.
Obama will also talk with young civil rights leaders about the challenges of the “mistrust between law enforcement and communities of color" and discuss with law enforcement how to strengthen neighborhoods.
Attorney General Eric Holder is scheduled to embark on a tour of the country which he will begin by attending a forum in Atlanta, Georgia about Ferguson.
Protests have continued around the U.S. over a Ferguson grand jury's decision not to indict white police offer, Darren Wilson, who shot unarmed African American Michael Brown.
