The Obama Administration has failed miserably at many things – but surely foreign policy has been a particularly horrible endeavor. According to a survey of professors at the top 25 foreign policy schools, John Kerry is the worst Secretary of State in history. Among the many countries where American interests are worse-off is Ukraine, where the United States encouraged a coup – and as a result, Russian President Vladimir Putin fought back, and now a war continues in the Ukraine.
While the people of Ukraine – and the West – suffer from Kerry’s incompetence, his longtime “close personal friend”, his largest fundraiser, Ben Barnes (pictured above) is getting very rich in the region Kerry screwed up.
A Public Relations industry news site, Everything PR News exclusively revealed today, “The Ben Barnes Group, led by Ben Barnes, the former Speaker of the Texas House of Representatives has been hired effective October 15th, 2015 by a shadowy law firm based in the British Virgin Islands with close ties to Ukrainian Prime Minister Petro Poroshenko at the fee of $100,000 per month.”
Poroshenko’s personal financial adviser is paying Barnes to “…promote the economic and geopolitical interests of the government of Ukraine.” The Ukraine has long had corruption – and now, the Prime Minister’s personal financial advisor is hiring John Kerry’s close friend and advisor to help boost the Ukraine’s economy. Barnes was the third largest Democratic donor in America from 1999 to 2004, top fund-raiser of the John Kerry presidential campaign and has a house near Kerry's in Nantucket, Massachusetts.
Barnes – no stranger to scandal and controversy – will work to boost Poroshenko, who has a net worth of $720 Million Dollars and hasn’t sold his numerous Ukrainian companies despite pre-election promises to do so. Among other recent clients of The Ben Barnes Group are an arms dealer whose hired him to “help locate assets which may have been hidden by former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi.”
It pays to be friends with John Kerry. The mainstream media has ignored this story – imagine this was a Republican big-wig involved with payola of this sort?
