Actor Jared Leto (Suicide Squad) may have taken his portrayal of The Joker a little too far in an interview with GQ last week when he made the wildly hilarious claim that the Hollywood film industry, a cesspool of leftism, is actually "very conservative."

Leto's bold display of jocular reverie came when GQ asked the previous Oscar winner if Hollywood might ever allow an openly gay man to become a leading actor, prompting this response:  "I definitely don’t think a gay leading man would have the same opportunities as a straight leading man."

When asked why, Leto dropped his killing joke, saying, "This is still a very conservative business."

As noted by Newsbusters, this "very conservative business" previously gave Leto an Oscar for his portrayal of a transgender man in aids drama Dallas Buyers Club and has openly pushed a left-of-left agenda since as far back as the 1960's. To view Hollywood as "very conservative" as Leto does at this point in history, one would have to be almost to the left of Fidel Castro or Che Guevara to make that conclusion.
