Hillary Clinton’s campaign came out swinging Thursday — putting up its (David) dukes, you might say — with a string of videos desperately tying Donald Trump to the Ku Klux Klan.
Using Twitter as her soundboard, Clinton launched a full assault on her rival in a desperate attempt to paint him as the leader of white supremacists and neo-Nazis:
The release of these videos was orchestrated to play alongside her anti-Trump speech given in Reno, Nevada, on Thursday. It was clear that the point of the speech was to utterly destroy her opponent with accusations of racism and alt-right sentiments rather than put forth any policy ideas of her own. Clinton joked that Trump has fired so many campaign managers it's like an episode of The Apprentice. That set the mood to attack his latest hire, Breitbart's Stephen Bannon. Clinton blasted Bannon as leader of the "right-wing website" and cherry-picked a few offensive headlines. She said Bannon was hired to "let Trump be Trump" which would appeal to Breitbart readers. Together, she said, Trump will be embraced by the most extreme fringe elements of the conservative movement.
The Freedom Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Therefore we do not endorse political candidates either in primary or general elections. However, as defenders of America’s social contract, we insist that the rules laid down by both parties at the outset of campaigns be respected, and that the results be decided by free elections. We will oppose any attempt to rig the system and deny voters of either party their constitutional right to elect candidates of their choice.
