The statement above comes directly from the Hillary Clinton campaign website and reveals just how out-of-touch the Democratic presidential nominee truly is.

In the wake of the massive DNC email-leak exposing the Party's efforts to destroy Bernie Sanders' chances of winning the nomination, Hillary Clinton isn't playing it safe, or smart. In a move that can only be characterized as spitting in the face of already-demoralized Bernie Sanders supporters, Clinton immediately tapped disgraced -- and now resigned -- DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz as an "honorary chair" of her campaign's "50 state program." Wasserman Schultz will serve as a Clinton-surrogate on the campaign trail and Clinton will likewise help her in her own Congressional reelection bid. 

It goes without saying that Hillary Clinton and her camp were well aware -- and likely part of -- the DNC's egregious actions to sabotage Sanders, but doubling down like this takes real hubris.  

We're not sure tapping Wasserman Schultz was a great way for Hillary -- who already boasts a record-low trustworthy rating among Americans -- to prove to the general public that she is not corrupt.
