A Facebook group of anti-Israel activists photo-shopped a picture of Jews in a Nazi concentration camp holding posters to boycott Israel.
The group, "I Acknowledge Apartheid Exists," which boasts 91,000 Facebook fans, placed signs such as "Stop US Aid to Israel and "Free Palestine" in the hands of malnourished Jews suffering at the hands of Nazi oppression.

"We are dealing with some really sick minds when it comes to the proponents of the Boycott, Divest and Sanctions (BDS) movement propaganda machine," noted Cornell University law professor William Jacobson on Legal Insurrection, where he first reported the story. "This propaganda reflects the evil and sick nature of the people behind the BDS movement. While I’m all in favor of dialogue, I don’t know how you try to reason with people like that, who have lost all touch with reality and truth."
In reality, Israel goes to extensive measures to ensure the safety and security of innocent civilians in Gaza who are used as human shields by the terrorist organization Hamas. In the most recent conflict over the summer, Israel went as far as to send in ground troops, some of whom were killed, to halt Hamas rocket fire and minimize causalities rather than rely on air strikes.
Proponents of the BDS movement often abuse the memory of the Holocaust in an attempt to portray Israel's foundation and military actions as genocidal and demonic. On college campuses this effort is spearheaded by the anti-Semitic club Students for Justice in Palestine and bigoted speakers such as Max Blumenthal and Ali Abunimah.
Another page, posted by the Central NY Committee for Justice in Palestine, also posted the photo to their page. After backlash following the initial report by Legalinsurrection.com, they took it down, but not before a screen shot was captured:
