Feminist Gloria Steinem took to Facebook to criticize presidential candidate Carly Fiorina. The reason: Fiorina's remarks about Planned Parenthood. Steinem said they were "a 100 percent lie."
It seems like feminists care more about abortion than they care about supporting other women in their endeavors.
“Trump’s greatest damage to women was to raise sympathy for Carly Fiorina by attacking her appearance,” Steinem wrote. “What she said about Planned Parenthood was a 100 percent lie — as fact checkers have pointed out — and she accused Hillary Clinton of lying when she was in fact telling the truth. If you thought Republicans could find no woman more damaging to the diversity and needs of the female half of this country than Sarah Palin, take a good look at Carly Fiorina and what she stands for.”
Fiorina said during the GOP debate: “I dare Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama to watch these tapes. Watch a fully formed fetus on the table, its heart beating, its legs kicking while someone says we have to keep it alive to harvest its brain.”
Steinem's post on Facebook has more than 26K likes and 11k shares.
