Gary Sinise Calls Out Obama

"Administration must explain, especially 2 families of those lost attempting 2 find him, the GITMO trade"

After the Army announced it was charging Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl with desertion and misbehavior before the enemy Wednesday, CSI star and military advocate Gary Sinise took to Twitter to demand that the Obama administration explain to the families of the soldiers killed while searching for Bergdahl why they traded five high-risk Gitmo detainees for him:

After the controversial trade was announced, Michelle Malkin provided a soldier’s firsthand account of the search for Bergdahl, which the soldier (who remained anonymous because he still holds a “highly sensitive position” in the armed forces) said resulted in the deaths of eight soldiers.

In a press conference with British Prime Minister David Cameron in June, President Obama dismissed pushback from members of the military and Congress, calling it a controversy "whipped up in Washington." In its defense of the swap, the Obama administration even went so far as to attack the soldiers accusing Bergdahl of desertion, administration official Brandon Friedman asking, "What if his platoon was long on psychopaths and short on leadership?"
