Fox Gets Silenced on Fox Over Fracking

Anti-fracking activist and filmmaker Josh Fox had his time on Fox Business cut short after he accused host Stuart Varney of lying.

Varney and Fox were discussing a new report from the Environmental Protection Agency that said there was no evidence to support the claim that fracking is dangerous for drinking water. Fox not only disagreed with that but also disputed Varney's claim that he himself has lit his drinking water on fire at his property in upstate New York.

Varney said that when he bought the property 12 years ago, before fracking became an issue in the area, that locals joked about being able to light their taps on fire.

"I did it myself," Varney said after Fox disputed this was even possible.

"I do believe you are lying right now," Fox replied.

"Lying? The interview is over, young man! I am not lying. I did it myself. Thank you. Goodbye. You are out of here, son!" Varney said. He continued to ask Fox to leave the set as the filmmaker continued to shout out his claims.
