Carly Fiorina and Donald Trump have been in the news for several days after it was revealed that Trump made fun of her appearance in an interview with Rolling Stone. Carly responded with an on-point web ad that was equally buzzworthy. Tonight, the two candidates faced each other in the GOP Debate.

First, Carly was asked if she would be comfortable knowing that Donald Trump has his finger on the nuclear button. As you can see in the clip above from The Daily Banter, Carly didn't immediately go for the throat. In fact, her answer apparently sufficiently satisfied Trump that he turned the exchange into a pretty brutal stomping of Rand Paul. But that wasn't the end of their faceoff.

That ninja dig at Trump for blowing the question on Suleimani, which was asked of him by one of tonight's debate questioners, Hugh Hewitt, went unanswered. The Suleimani moment seems to be that rarest of things: something Trump knows he got wrong. And Carly didn't leave it sitting there.

It recalls a moment from last week that we first highlighted here at Truth Revolt, when a speaker at the Iran Deal rally, possibly unintentionally, made a similar dig at Trump.

However, this is still not the end of the battles. Although the debate is still ongoing at the time of this post, this clip could not wait. Carly and Trump finally address the elephant face in the room head on.

"I think women all over this country heard very clearly what Mr. Trump said."

Fiorina got the better of Donald and no two ways about it. And the crowd knew it. That one, finally and at last, may leave a mark.
