Friday, CNN host Don Lemon declared that Santa Claus is, in fact, a black man.

Let me just tell you; Santa Claus to me, is a black man.

This was in reaction to Megyn Kelly's panel discussing the left's War on Christmas on Fox News Thursday. Her assertion was that Santa Claus is white - an historically accurate statement dating all the way back to Kris Kringle.

Lemon laughs at her comment and offers this more egalitarian response:

Santa Claus is black in black homes. And Santa Claus is white in white homes. Santa Claus is Mexican in Mexican homes. So let me just tell you, Santa Claus to me is a black man.
