Democrats continue keeping it classy. Why, just look at how California Democrats acted at the state’s convention on Saturday, raising middle fingers and chanting, “F*** Donald Trump."
Elected party leaders fired up the crowd encouraging them to be the “epicenter of liberal resistance” against President Trump, according to the Associated Press, and urging intense activism against the 14 Republicans representing the state. Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom was on hand, breathlessly telling the cheering crowd, “The world — literally the world — is counting on all of you, counting on California to reject Trump’s deception and destructiveness.”
But none got the crowd going quite like California Democrats' outgoing party chair John Burton who raised his middle fingers and shouted, “All together now: F*** Donald Trump.” And join along they did, according to reports on Twitter.
Burton’s mouth remained loose all day, regularly telling protesters to “shut the f*** up,” because, you know, screaming at Republican town halls is totally fine but don’t dare show up to a Democrat event.
Here are some of those precious moments via Twitter:
Profanity seems to be the Left’s new strategy in winning elections. In fact, the Democratic Party is selling officially licensed profanity, like the “Democrats give a sh*t about people” T-shirt. And of course there’s the new DNC Chair Tom Perez ensuring his public events aren’t that family friendly:
But never forget, as former first lady Michelle Obama often reminded, “When they go low, we go high.” Like Nancy Pelosi, on the right in white, proves in the photograph below:
