Democratic Candidate Refuses to Shake Opponent's Hand

Democratic VA Lt. Gov. candidate would not shake the hand of his Republican opponent.

During a debate between Virginia's two candidates for lieutenant governor, the Democratic candidate, Ralph Northam, refused to shake the hand of his Republican opponent, E. W. Jackson.

Breitbart reports that as the debate came to an end Northam would not shake Jackson's hand and even avoided eye contact.

So far Dr. Alveda King, a niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, and Ken Blackwell from the American Civil Rights Union have called on Northam to apologize. There is no word on whether Al Sharpton will be calling out Northam for not shaking the hand of a former Marine, Harvard-educated lawyer and black Republican candidate for Lt. Gov.
