Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Thursday night, Ted Cruz received a phone call from Donald Trump, played by Jimmy Fallon.
The skit poked fun at everyone, including Hillary Clinton, but mostly lampooned Trump's "all about me" persona, from his hangups about the size of his hands (and private parts) to his outrage over Cruz winning the Colorado delegates without an open primary.
After congratulating the stone-faced Cruz for receiving a "call from Donald Trump," Fallon's Trump then offered to coach him for his interview on The Tonight Show later. Though Cruz declined, Fallon insisted he hear what he had to offer.
"That's a very generous offer, Donald. I appreciate you being the bigger man," Cruz said.
"Oh I'm the bigger man," Fallon replied. "With the bigger hands. And the bigger...you can't see me, but I'm pointing at my Trump Tower."
After a few quips lampooning Donald Trump's outrage over the Colorado loss and his stance on immigration, the skit concluded with Fallon's Trump conceding that the Republican party has finally unified under his leadership -- unified in opposing him, that is.
The Freedom Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Therefore we do not endorse political candidates either in primary or general elections. However, as defenders of America’s social contract, we insist that the rules laid down by both parties at the outset of campaigns be respected, and that the results be decided by free elections. We will oppose any attempt to rig the system and deny voters of either party their constitutional right to elect candidates of their choice.
