The mini-feud between The Daily Show's Jon Stewart and CNN's Chris Cuomo continued Thursday morning after the CNN host openly mocked Stewart over criticisms he received for telling Christiane Amanpour Tuesday that he did not vote in the 2014 mid-terms.  

Even though Stewart immediately recanted and apologized on his show for being "flip" during the interview, the controversy has not been settled and Chris Cuomo capitalized on it.

While the New Day hosts debated whether or not Stewart had been telling the truth, Chris Cuomo seemed focused on what can only be described as pouring salt on an open wound.  

“He’s got a little taste of it, my brother,” Cuomo said. “How’s it taste when it’s coming your way?”

Of course, the other hosts tried to play off the seriousness of the whole ordeal by exclaiming the famous "Jon Stewart is just a comedian" mantra, but Cuomo had none of it, saying that Jon Stewart deserves any and all criticism he receives because he projects himself as a serious figure and people revere him as such.
