Actor George Clooney – Hollywood's most overrated Cary Grant wannabe/replacement – sounded off on Donald Trump's immigration policy during an interview at the Toronto Film Festival Saturday night.

Representing his new movie Our Brand Is Our Crisis, which Clooney produced, the 54-year-old movie star had been asked to share his thoughts on presidential frontrunner Trump and pulled no punches, calling him all the schoolyard names in the book.

"Clearly, what he said is idiotic, of course it’s idiotic," Clooney said.

"Anybody who says as intolerant words as those should be laughed at, and that's pretty much what history will do," he continued "Who'd have thought Donald Trump would be at 30 percent."

According to Breitbart News, Clooney's statements represent utter hypocrisy considering that the movie star previously installed "security cameras around the property of one of his expensive European homes, in order to keep unwanted guests away," which apparently upset the neighbors who "complained the added security measures jeopardized the privacy of the neighborhood."

"Lake Como, Italy also has special fines in place, specifically for Clooney, which are designed to keep out of towners from entering his private property," reported Breitbart.

In sum, George Clooney believes in sovereign borders and private property for himself, but not for the United States. Classic Hollywood.
