Another horrific incident of gang-rape of a young teenage girl has happened, this time in Chicago, and it was all broadcast on Facebook Live. Amazingly, 40 people viewed the crime and no one thought -- or cared -- to dial 911. 

The incident came to the attention of police after the mother of the 15-year-old victim approached Superintendent Eddie Johnson as he was leaving a news conference on late Monday afternoon, according to Fox News. She showed him screenshots of the video, and he became “visibly upset.”

“Here’s what’s even more disturbing, more than the fact that they did this, there were so many people that saw it and didn’t pick up the phone to dial 911,” Johnson would later say. “That’s not right. It’s just not right.”

The girl was reported missing on Sunday after she didn’t come home from an errand. The Chicago Tribune said the girl’s uncle came across the video of the assault and that's how the family learned what happened to her. She was found Tuesday morning “walking four blocks from her home,” according to Fox. The police reported her in “good condition.”

This is the second major crime committed in Chicago and streamed live on Facebook this year. Back in January, four black Chicago teens kidnapped and tortured a special needs white boy in an anti-Trump attack and proudly filmed the crime for Facebook broadcast.
