15-Year-Old Viral Video Star Now LGBT Model for American Apparel

LGBT Pride

Brendan Jordan, the 15-year-old "dancing diva" from a viral video, is now modeling pink tights and skirts for clothing company American Apparel.

Jordan, a self-confessed Lady Gaga superfan, was "discovered" dancing jubilantly during a Las Vegas news segment. The video has been viewed over three million times.

Jordan also participated in an anti-bullying campaign in support of LGBT youth. And now he can add fashion model to his resume.

From the American Apparel ad:

Meet Brendan. Brendan is from Las Vegas, Nevada. He’s half Peruvian (his dad was born and raised in Peru) and he learned Spanish from his extended family that helped care for him. He enjoys taking photos, shopping and collecting Disney memorabilia. In the future Brendan hopes to have his own TV show and design a clothing line. His biggest inspirations are his great grandmother Lucy and Lady Gaga. we were inspired by Brendan after seeing his fearless act of spontaneity and applaud his efforts with the LGBTQ community. His favorite styles of ours include the Clear PVC Circle Skirt and anything high-waisted.

Buzzfeed couldn't be happier for Brendan. They praised his advocacy displayed on a white T-shirt that reads, "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Pride."
