ABC and NBC both ignored The New York Times story on a Democrat Senator's plagiarized master's thesis, a new report by the Media Research Center shows. At least 25 percent of Senator John Walsh's (D-MT) master's thesis for the United States Army College "was either taken without attribution from other authors’ works or improperly sourced," according to the Times article published Thursday.

But that revelation wasn't worth covering for two of the country's three major network morning news shows, as only CBS This Morning covered the story.

And as the MRC noted in its report on the issue's coverage, or lack thereof, even CBS's story was less than comprehensive:

While CBS was the only “big three” network to cover Democrat John Walsh’s plagiarism controversy, it failed to mention the possible repercussions for his actions.
